Rainfall has made roads slick.  Standing water on some routes in Iroquois County require some special attention. Motorists should be aware of changing conditions.

...The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a Flood Advisory for Sugar Creek at Milford affecting Iroquois County.

Forecast calls for rainfall amounts of up to one and a quarter inches in the next 24 hours could cause rises along Sugar Creek. The advisory is for downstream areas that tie into the Iroquois River at Watseka. The advisory will continue until at least Thursday afternoon.
