Iroquois County Clerk Breein Suver has announced that the County Clerk’s office will be open for Grace Period Registration and Voting for the upcoming November 8, 2022 General Election from October 12 – November 8, 2022. During this grace period, an unregistered qualified elector may register to vote (two forms of I.D. will be needed) and also a registered voter may submit a change of address form in person at the County Clerk’s office.
If a voter registers or changes an address during this grace period and wishes to vote at the November 8, 2022 General Election, he or she must do so by grace period voting in person at the County Clerk’s Office.
Office hours for Grace Period Voting are as follows:
• 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Saturday, November 5, 2022 with office hours from 8:30 a.m. – noon.
• Additionally, the County Clerk’s office will be open on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., for voting and for those who need to register to vote or update and/or change their address.
