Iroquois County’s Joel Moore elected to statewide post

Iroquois County Engineer Joel Moore is the newly elected secretary-treasurer of the Illinois Association of County Engineers. And. He's in line to become the association's president in 2017.

Iroquois County's Engineer for the last eight plus years, Moore takes office in 2015 and is expected to advance to vice president in 2016. In 2017 he would become the first president of the organization from Iroquois County.

Moore has served as a district director of the organization, representing seven area counties.
The county association works with the Illinois Department of Transportation on changes in road regulations on county and township levels. There's also coordination with the Illinois Municipal League.
