A new fiscal year budget and solar farm projects are on the agenda for this (Tuesday) afternoon's Iroquois County Board meeting in Watseka.  The 5:30 pm meeting is at the Administrative Center. The alternating schedule returns to the 5 pm meetings for the final quarter of the year, today and in November and Decement.

The Finance committee last week proposed a FY19 budget showing a balance of just under $29,000.  Details of the budget could be hashed out at today's meeting.

The Zoning Board of Appeals also gave tentative approval to solar farm projects in Middleport and Pigeon Grove Townships.

The Kankakee County Board is meeting today.  The 9 am meeting was expected to talk about improvements to Route 115.  LeHigh Road has been the subject of discussions calling for road upgrades to redeuce the number of traffic accidents.
