John Shure was re-elected this (Monday) morning as Chairman of the Iroquois County Board. Paul Ducat was nominated and was elected by the membership to serve as Vice-Chair.
New members joining the Board include: Raymond J. Williams (District 3), Doug Geiger, Mitchell Bence and Scott Watts (District 4).

The Kankakee County Board (Monday) re-elected Andrew Wheeler to continue as Chairman. Matt Alexander-Hillenbrand was elected Vice-Chairman.
Taking his leadership seat, Wheeler congratulated the Board for its success and called the team “historical,” for the diverse representation for the county’s interests………

Wheeler said Kankakee County has come a long way in recent years and he pointed to the future projects, including cleaning up the Kankakee River.
