The total sale price at the Iroquois County Fair's livestock sale (Monday) was down from 2017 numbers.  But the overall sale figure was still well above previous years dating back to 2005.

Monday's sale totaled $173,235.29...down from $195, 280.14 at the 2017 sale of champions. During the last several years, the sale showed totals ranging from $109,000 in 2010 up to $142, 972 in 2013. 

At this year's sale buyers supported the sale of 69 Swine, 18 Beef and 25 Sheep. Nine Wether Goats and seven Rabbits were sold.  Also five Poultry and a Pail of Milk was sold in the Dairy division.

This year's fair attendance was 72,419.
