ISP: Arrest made after multi-county chase

A three-counties chase in Indiana (Wednesday) finds a man jailed in Tippecanoe County.

39-year-old Joshua Coleman did not stop when a trooper tried to stop his vehicle just before 2 am. Instead, Coleman merged onto the State Road 25 ramp onto Interstate 65 South. Police said speeds reached 90-1000 mph. State Police used stop-sticks south of SR 38 but Coleman swerved to avoid them.

The chase entered Clinton County, then Boone County where the driver again avoided stop sticks. Coleman finally pulled over on I-65 near Lebanon.

Police found nothing illegal in Coleman’s possession. He told police he fled ‘cuz he was scared.’

He faces a felony charge of resisting with a vehicle and another charge of being a habitual traffic violator for life.

Indianapolis Police Arrest Man for Drunk Scootering --

It was bound to happen, police in Indianapolis say they've made their first drunk scootering arrest.

Officers say a 21-year-old man ran a red light, in front of an off-duty police officer, and almost caused a crash on Tuesday, Metro Police say it's the first case against someone for allegedly being drunk while riding one of those rentable, electric, motorized scooters.

Kokomo, IN man nabbed trafficking drugs --

34-yr-old Christopher Anderson was arrested after Indiana State Police stopped him on I-65 for Improper Lane Usage. Over 23-pounds of marijuana was found wrapped in plastic bags inside luggage. The stop was made near Fair Oaks.
