A Saturday night detail in Kankakee County conducted by Illinois State Police resulted in two DUI arrests. The Special Patrol focused on the prevention, detection and enforcement of violations. There was also a drug arrest and three seat belt violations. In all, 28 citations and 30 written warnings were handed out from 6 – 11 pm. The patrols are paid for by the IDOT.
