20-year-old Jakki Mowrey of Milford is the new queen at the Iroquois County Fair.  The daughter of Jon & Tracy Mowrey was crowned Tuesday evening, judges selecting her among the five contestants. Jakki will reign over the fair this week and represent the county at state competition in January.  Jakki is attending Illinois State University majoring in Sociology.  She was a 2020 graduate of Milford High School.

The 2022 County Fair started Tuesday.  The Talent Show is featured at 7 pm today (Wednesday).  4-H activities are also on today's agenda.
