Sheriff's Police in Jasper County, Indiana believe an accidental fire in a camper killed a man Monday night.
Emergency crews responded to a camping trailer engulfed in flames about 11:30 pm just south of Parr, Indiana.
The entire structure was destroyed in less than 10 minutes. Investigators found the remains of 55-year-old of Frank Coffer.
Investigators report they think the fire was caused by either a malfunctioning heater or a small wood stove that had recently been installed in the camper.
Family members said Coffer had lived in the camper on their property since July 2015. He was on oxygen and had mobility issues.
The State Fire Marshal's Office is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
