Jasper County reports 20 new COVID cases

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Friday 925 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.  Sixteen more people died of the virus'  complications.   Health officials reported 2,470,237 people have received the first dose of the vaccine. 

According to ISDH, 733,591 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 13,049 people have died from the virus. 

Among area counties, additional cases reported Friday included 20 more in Jasper County, White County added eight more.  Newton County Public Health reported two new cases, Benton added one, and Tippecanoe County 13.
