Jasper County reports 34 new COVID cases, Newton adds 13

Local Indiana health departments are right in line with the surging COVID-19 cases.  Thirty-four new cases in Jasper and 13 more in Newton County were reported Thursday.  INdian's numbers have been a steady concern, officials urging individuals to get the vaccine.  Jasper County recorded one new death, not listing 61 total.

Jasper County's 34 new cases follows 28 just a day earlier.  White County also added 17 new cases Wednesday.  

The State Department of Health reported 4,157 additional cases Thursday and had 4,733 new cases confirmed Wednesday.
