July 4 Parade Winners in Watseka

"Proud to be an American" was the 2021 theme for the 4th of July Parade in Watseka Saturday.  Judges selected the entry of Dave Kestel & Kevin Durbin for its Best Use of Theme as the parade's top entry.  The Watseka Fire Department entry was the Best Decorated Emergency Vehicle.  The Best Walking Unit was the entry of Express Employment Professionals.

Other parade winners, selected by judges, included Best Farm Entry (CME Farm), Best Religiois Entry (Christ Lutheran High School), Best Children's Unit (Watseka Little League), and Best Commercial Entry (Iroquois County Historical Society & Geneology).  

Forty plus entries were in registered in the parade, sponsoed by the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Watseka.
