Several area communities are hosting July 4th holiday activities. Fireworks displays are listed for Watseka, Ashkum, Cissna Park, Onarga in Iroquois County.

St. Anne, Aroma Park, Kankakee, Momence, Manteno and Bonfield are hosting displays too.

Onarga has several events planned at Durham Park. Included are a Car & Motorcycle Show Sunday, a Talent Show Saturday at 1:30 pm, A flag-raising ceremony at 11 am will follow the Grand Parade, which begins at 11. The parade Theme is "Time to Remember."

The Onarga Fireworks are at dusk Saturday.

Cissna Park offers its fireworks show Monday at dusk at Kellart Lake.

Watseka fireworks are at the County Courthouse Monday, July 4th. The Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce parade is Monday at 11 am. "Pride in Our Past...Faith in Our Future" is the theme. The Iroquois County Long Term Recovery Committee is serving as Parade Grand Marshall.

Iroquois Memorial Hospital in Watseka is also hosting several kids activities on the hospital grounds.

Kankakee Community College invites the public to its annual July 4th event... the Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra performs on campus followed by the fireworks show Monday. Food & concessions are offered and there's a $20 admission fee per carload.

St. Anne fireworks are Sunday, July 3, at dusk at the Community Park.
Aroma Park fireworks are Saturday at the Boat Club.
Momence fireworks are Monday on Railroad Avenue.
Manteno's fireworks are Sunday at Legacy Park.
Bonfield has holiday events Sunday and Monday, including a Fishing Derby and fireworks at 9:30 pm Monday.
Dwight offers its fireworks show Monday behind the Elementary School.
