JUSTICE THOMAS L. KILBRIDE TO ADMINISTER OATH TO NEW ATTORNEYS

Illinois Supreme Court Justice Thomas L. Kilbride will administer the attorney's oath to 21 new lawyers who will be admitted to practice in a ceremony in Ottawa on Thursday, May 1.

The group is among 691 men and women who were certified as candidates and will be sworn in as Illinois attorneys at ceremonies in the state's five Supreme Court judicial districts.

The program in the Third Judicial District will begin at 11 a.m. in the Appellate Court Building at 1004 Columbus Street in Ottawa.

Justice Kilbride will preside over the ceremony and welcome the members of the class, their families and friends.

George Leynaud will be the speaker for the ceremony. Mr. Leynaud is engaged in the general prac-tice of law with the firm of Leynaud & Leynaud in Peru.

Umberto S. Davi, second vice-president of the Illinois State Bar Association, also will speak.

Circuit Judge Kathy Bradshaw Elliott of the 21st Judicial Circuit will make the motion to admit the class. Walter W. Ratajczyk, Assistant State's Attorney for Will County will second the motion to admit the class.
