Two adult people are under arrest for the death of a one-year-old child.

34-year-old Dean Williams of Kankakee and 23-year-old Keyonna Deckert of Colorado both face charges of 1st-degree murder and aggravated battery for the death of Keon Brown.

Kankakee county sheriff’s police report authorities were called to the Fairview Motel about 6:30 Monday morning where the one-year-old was pronounced dead. An autopsy showed the victim suffered blunt force trauma.

Williams and Deckert are jailed in Kankakee County.
