New Mask Rules for Kankakee County Administration Buildings --

 As a result of Executive Order 2021-20, all individuals entering all Kankakee County office buildings are required to wear a mask starting on Monday, August 30, 2021. The same Executive Order applies to those who attend Kankakee County Board meetings. Per Administrative Order from Chief Judge Kramer on August 5, 2021, all individuals who enter the Kankakee County Courthouse have been required to wear a mask.

City of Kankakee will be following the directives of Governor JB Pritzker --

The City of Kankakee will be following the directives of Governor JB Pritzker who announced that, as of Monday, August 30, the entire state will be under a mandate to cover the face indoors, regardless of vaccination status. This mandate includes all municipal facilities (Executive Order 2021-20). The same Executive Order extends to attendees at City Council meetings, committee meetings and special meetings.
