Kankakee County crash kills one, injures another

Bourbonnais Fire Protection District Chief Ed St. Louis tells WGFA News a two-vehicle crash near St. George this (Friday) morning may have been the result of the fog.  The call came in just after 7 am. Momence Fire also answered the call.

The crash occurred at the intersection of 6000E Road and 4000N Road about 7 a.m. Each of the two cars involved had just one person in each. The drivers, St. Louis said, were both trapped.


Kankakee County Sheriff's Police had traffic shut down.


Chief St. Louis said the fog prevented a LifeStar helicopter from getting involved in any rescue.......


Names of those involved in the accident have not been available.
