The 49th Kankakee County Fair closed for 2013 Sunday. And officials say it was a great run.
Pleasant weather conditions and a few new attractions pulled in good crowds, according to Fair Manager Tammy Focken. Rain Friday held things up for a while, but other than that, the nice temps in the 80s kept the audience and exhibitors happy.
The truck pull, demolition derby, and car races were the usual attractions. .
Focken said the motorcycle extreme shows and the bus races were popular.
The Wild World of Animals Show also drew a crowd on Sunday. The animals also were on display when shows weren't going on.
