Those officers with the rank of Lt. in the Kankakee County Sheriff's Department have a new contract.  The County Board announced the new deal Tuesday.  It runs through 2023.  Board Chairman Andy Wheeler said both sides worked well together to make it happen.  He said the last four years have proven to be more cooperative concerning negotiations.
