NICK AFRICANO, COUNTY TREASURER
ERICH BLAIR, SUPERVISOR OF ASSESSMENTS
DAN HENDRICKSON, COUNTY CLERK

Kankakee County elected office-holders are announcing precautions being taken to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Beginning Monday, March 23, public visiting the offices on the first floor of the County Administration Building at 189 East Court Street in Kankakee (Supervisor of Assessments, County Clerk and County Treasurer) will be held by appointment only. People are encouraged to call the respective offices to schedule a time to conduct their necessary business.

Supervisor of Assessments: 815-937-2945
County Clerk: 815-937-2990
County Treasurer: 815-937-2960

Visitors entering the building should use the Court Street entrance. The west side entrance will be unavailable for general public.

Hendrickson said, “This was not an easy decision to make. We realize that these precautions create a hardship on the public we serve, but we feel we are making these decisions in the best interests of the public at large and certainly to safeguard the health of our employees.”

These restrictions will be in place until at least April 3rd. Further information will be published on our respective websites, the County’s website, and all media.
