Kankakee cousins sentenced for attempted murder

Two Kankakee cousins, 22-year-old Jonathon and 26-year-old Jerrell Wade, have been handed lengthy prison terms. The two men were found guilty in July for the shooting of 25-year-old Greg Dismuik.

Jonathon was sentenced to 32 years in prison. Jerrell received a 44-year term in the DOC. The Wades' were accused of firing several rounds of gunfire at the victim on North 5th Avenue. Prosecutors said it was all over an ongoing dispute.
