Kankakee Fire Chief Damon Schuldt is expressing his thanks for a family of young people who donated stuffed animal toys and books for children needing ambulance care. The collection of toy-animals and reading materials will be housed in ambulances for comfort to young victims maybe traumatized during emergency runs.
