Bradley Police responded to an early-morning shooting today (Thursday) that left a 46-year-old man dead. Jess Hackney is identified by the Kankakee County Coroner’s Office as the victim who died at an area hospital.

Hackney was pronounced dead at 12:42 am at AMITA Health St. Mary’s Hospital. The Coroner’s office reports Hackney suffered multiple gunshot wounds. An autopsy was scheduled.

Police report the shooting occurred in the 200 block of West Broadway Street in Bradley.  Two other people were also injured in the incident.
