A federal grand jury indicted a Kankakee man this week on two-counts of using interstate commerce facilities in commission of a murder-for-hire plot.
32-year-old Joshua Bisping allegedly attempted to hire an undercover agent to kill his ex-wife. Bisping was arrested June 5th after a week long investigation by federal agents and Kankakee Project Safe Neighborhoods Task Force agents.
If convicted, Bisping faces up to 20 years in federal prison. He'll be arrainged in federal court in Urbana July 23rd.
