Kankakee, Police say an altercation between two brothers led to a stabbing death last night in the kitchen of a home in the 400-block of S. Chicago Avenue.

39-year-old Theo Chester is jailed today charged with first-degree murder. His brother, 28-year-old George Chester died of multiple stab wounds to the chest, according to Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner.

An autopsy was scheduled for this morning.
