Kankakee Police, Mayor offering $10,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest for 2 unsolved murders

The Kankakee Police Department in collaboration with the Office of the Mayor is offering up to $10,000.00 in reward for information leading to the arrest for the unsolved murders of two 15-year-olds.

The murders of Davarion Jones and Termaine Wilson remain under investigation. Anyone with info can contact Kankakee Police at 815-933-0426. Info can also be relayed to Kankakee County Crime Stoppers at 815-932-7463.

On July 06, 2021 at 3:51pm, Davarion Jones and several other teenagers were standing near a vehicle in the 1100 block of East Merchant Street when a lone gunman approached the youths and shot into the group killing Davarion Jones. The gunman then fled on foot eastbound in the alley. No arrest has been made for this murder.

On February 17th, 2022 at 2:29am, Termaine Wilson was on a couch inside a residence in the 300 block of South Harrison Avenue when a gunman fired into the residence from the street killing Wilson. The gunman then fled the scene. No arrest has been made for this murder.

The City of Kankakee has issued a reward up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the identification and apprehension of the person(s) responsible for the murder of each of these individual.
