Kankakee City Police are dealing with a wave of shootings.  Police have answered calls to four shooting incidents since Saturday, January 16.  Five people were shot and wounded at a house party and a mother and her two children were wounded getting out of their vehicle at a residence.  All the victims were wounded. Another shooting happened early Monday.  Polcie did takie a suspect into custody.
