Kankakee State Park: Lewd Acts Net Arrest

KANKAKEE --  Illinois State Police arrested a Peotone man Tuesday after he committed a lewd act in the Kankakee State Park.

Sixty-year-old Ronald C. Noble was jailed at the Jerome Combs Detention Center on a charge of public indecency.

A trooper was patrolling the park Tuesday morning when he observed Noble outside of his vehicle performing a lewd act. He immediately was taken into custody.

Noble is the eighth man to be arrested for either public indecency or insulting battery at the park since April 1. Illinois State Police District 21 and Zone 3 Investigations, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police and the Kankakee County State’s Attorney’s Office have combined efforts to address the ongoing problem.
