A search is on for a missing woman in St. Anne. Police and fire personnel and volunteers are looking for 25-year-old Katelynn Marie Contreras --- last seen at her home around 10:30 am Wednesday 9/29.

Katelynn is a mixed Hispanic female, described as 5-1, around 150-160 pounds, long brown hair and hazel eyes. A social media posting states she has pierced ears and a tattoo on her right wrist with the word “Hope.”

Katelynn is considered “autistic with mild retardation” according to the social media post. She also has a speech impediment.

The clothing she was last seen wearing included a teal-colored T-shirt, while-greyish jeans, and black-gray sketchers.

Katelynn was not seen leaving home. She has no friends in the local area, has no belongings, no money, phone or means of transportation.
