ENID, OKLAHOMA. – The Kankakee Community College baseball team is in the final four of the NJCAA World Series.

After dropping its first game in the NJCAA Division II World Series tournament, Kankakee Community College has put together three straight victories to keep its season alive.

Once again facing elimination, the Cavaliers (51-11-1) ousted Pitt Community College (NC) Tuesday evening 14-6.
The win puts KCC into the Final Four. The Cavaliers take on Parkland College (52-7-1) at 7 pm Wednesday night.

In the win over Pitt (42-9), KCC's Nick Albanese led the offense, going 1-for-2 with a double, two runs and three RBIs. Alex Mandeville followed, going 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs as Dylan Dodd finished 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBIs.

On the mound, Kyle Flessner picked up the win in 4 2/3 innings of work. Flessner allowed six earned runs on 10 hits while walking three batters. Brennan Kelly threw 2 1/3 innings of relief, allowing no hits and striking out two.

The Cavaliers pounded out 12 hits, breaking the game open with a seven-run 5th inning. KCC scored two in the second inning, two in the third, seven in the fifth, two in the sixth and one in the seventh.
