Kankakee Community College is commemorating Veterans Day with a reception and recognition ceremony today (Thursday).  A reception runs from 11:30 this morning until 1 pm in the KCC Cavalier Room.  Veterans will be honored in the college's auditorium at 1 pm.  The events are free and the public is invited.

Watseka American Legion Post #23 is hosting a Veterans Day event Friday, November 11 at the Legion Park home.  It begins at 11 am.

The Onarga American Legion Post 551 welcomes veterans for an Appreciation Breakfast.  Friday's event is serving from 8 - 10 am.  Carry-outs are available.  The breakfast is sponsored by the Princess Watch-E-Kee Chapter of the NSDAR in cooperation with the Legion Post. 

Watseka Community High School is hosting a Free Breakfast from 8:15 'til 10 am at the school.
