A recent Graduate of PBL High School is the new queen at the Ford County Fair. 17-year-old Kelsey Vaughn of Paxton bested a field of eight contestants (Monday) evening at the Melvin fairgrounds. Miss Vaughn will reign over the fair’s activities this week.

Kelsey is the daughter of Kelli and Rusty Vaughn. She will attend Illinois State University this fall, majoring in Agribusiness.

20-year-old Sydney Porter of Paxton was named 1st runner-up. 18-year-old Kaitlyn Harders of Melvin was 2nd runner-up. Miss Congeniality is 18-year-old Autumn Flessner of Loda.
