The Watseka Park District and the Watseka Elks Lodge will be opening the doors to the Kids Carnival this Sunday, March 15 at 1 pm at the WCHS gymnasium. There will be games, prizes, face painting and a 52-foot-long, amazing slide to entertain and amuse all the children that attend.

“We all look forward to this event to kind of jump start spring and get families out to just enjoy the afternoon with us,” said Park District Executive Director Sherry Johnson. “We rely heavily on our volunteers to make sure everything runs smoothly and we are always pleased with the outcome.”

The Kids Carnival is this Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at the WCHS gym. There are no fees for this event and children and their family’s Pre-K thru 13 are welcome to attend.
