Republican Sixteenth District Congressman Adam Kinzinger is proposing a joint resolution that authorizes the use of the military in Ukraine if Russia uses chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons.

Kinzinger says in a statement that's he's suggesting the measure as a clear redline so the U.S. Government can take action against Russia should it escalate the situation in Ukraine by using weapons banned by international law.

Kinzinger says that he agrees with President Joe Biden that Russian President Vladimir Putin must be stopped and says the President of the U.S. should have authority to take action to do so.
