Illinois Representatives Voted Along Party Lines

Illinois' congressional delegation are credited with voting along party lines on the U.S. House resolution to formally authorize an impeachment inquiry of President Trump. Chicago Democrats voting yes were Danny Davis, Jesus Chuy Garcia, Mike Quigley and Bobby Rush. GOP representatives voting against the resolution were Congressmen Adam Kinzinger of Channahon, John Shimkus of Collinsville, Mike Bost of Murphysboro, Rodney Davis of Taylorville and Darin LaHood of Peoria. The resolution was approved 232 to 196.
