Kinzinger talking about Bergdahl Issue

Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger is talking about the recent release of Bowe Bergdahl, the American soldier who was captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan in June of 2009, until his release over the weekend.

Kinzinger makes it clear that while he is happy that Bergdahl is going home, he does not like that he was exchanged for five Guantanamo Bay detainees, saying that a move like this puts American lives at risk. He says the presidential administration can say over and over that this was not negotiating with terrorists, but that does not make it so.

Kinzinger also spoke about the possibility of an investigation into Bergdahl abandoning his troops and whether or not AWOL charges could be filed against him.
