Testimony resumed today in the Livingston County murder trial of Heather Lamie. The 31-year-old Kankakee woman is accused in the death of a four-year-old girl who was in her care in 2011.

Testimony offered Thursday included audio from the phone of Lamie's husband, Joshua. The jury listened to young Kianna Rudesill say she 'hurts herself because she misses her parents.' The recorded audio also has Kianna saying 'she wants to live with the Lamie's forever, because she loves them.'

Closing arguments in the trial are expected Monday.
