The victim of a crash last Thursday morning on Interstate 74 in DeWitt County has been identified. 28-year-old Jordan Reinhart-Smith of LeRoy was pronounced dead at Carle Hospital in Urbana Friday morning. Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said the victim’s vehicle was hit by a semi tractor-trailer.

Illinois State Police report Reinhart was eastbound near Farmer City, lost control of his truck on an icy bridge. The truck hit the guardrail and became disabled in the left lane. That’s when the semi struck the driver’s side door.
The LeRoy High School website listed Reinhart as a football coach at the school.
