The Lorenzo R. Smith Elementary School is the setting for a satellite office in Hopkins Park to help residents apply for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program and the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program. Residents of Hopkins Park and Pembroke Township can set up an appointment to seek help.  The Kankakee County Community Services, Inc office is operating the satellite facility.  

Appointments arfe required by calling 815-933-7883. ext 219 or 234.  Walk-ins are not accepted.  Funds are avaialble on a first-come, first-serve basis.
