Limestone Teen Serious Injured in Kankakee County Crash

A three-vehicle crash Monday night in Limestone left a Bradley teen seriously injured. Police report a Bonfield man is jailed for drunk driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

19-year-old Zach Jones had to be extricated from his car by rescue personnel following the accident near 3200 Road on Illinois Route 17.

He was rushed to Riverside Medical Center where he was then airlifted to Loyola Medical Center according to state police.

39-year-old William Kibbons reportedly swerved into the eastbound lane , colliding with Jones’ car.  Kibbons’ pickup truck then crashed into another another pickup driven by David Phillips.  Kibbons was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.  He was also charged with improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed.
