Livingston County records 1st coronavirus death

The Livingston County Health Department (LCHD) has reported the first death of a Livingston County resident due to complications related to COVID-19. The individual is a woman in her 80’s who had been hospitalized.

Iroquois County Public Health Department officials announced two more positive cases Friday. There'sow 14 confirmed cases of coronavirus.  Ford County added a male ot its list of confirmed cases, bringing the county's list of confirmed caes to five.  There's also one death.

Kankakee County added nine new cases over the weekend.  The county health department is listing five new cases from Saturday and four Sunday.  There's now 279 positive cases.  Vermilion County has 10 confirmed cases of COVID-19, Grundy County is up to 25 cases.

In Indiana -- new weekend cases were recorded in Cass, Jasper, Newton, White and Tippecanoe counties. Cass County had the biggest increase, 19 new cases. Newton County has 31 cases with four deaths. Jasper County has 22 cases with 1 death.
