The Watseka Elks and the Masonic Lodge carry a long tradition of helping their local communities. The two fraternal orders share a passion of assisting the youth. And this weekend – the Elks Club will the setting for an OctoberFest fundraiser. 

The Masons’ Kevin Hack says Saturday’s event from 4-7 pm is one of the local fundraisers the groups do together.  Your entry fee sets you up for a chance to win several fun prizes.  Sy West explains the coop effort by the Elks and Masons is a plus for the community needs.  "We have a tight-knit, small community so many of the same people turnout for events like this.  We felt together we'd have a good event."
