Loda driver faces charges after 1-car crash

A 22-year-old Loda man was involved in a one-vehicle accident in Iroquois County Saturday.  Keanan Crabb was not injured when his car failed to negotiate a curve while eastbound on 200 E Road.  Sheriff's Police reported the vehicle ran into a ditch.  Police said a third party witness saw Crabb leave the scene on foot with his dog, and later, reported his vehicle was stolen.  Police issued citations for leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed and driving while license suspended.

A single-vehicle accident Monday in Iroquois County involved 52-year-old Eric Edwards of Watseka.  Polcie reported he was southbound on 1800 E Road, fell asleep, and ran thru a stop intersection at 3150 N.  No injury was reported and no ticket was issued.
