An on-site construction accident killed a Lowell, Indiana man Wednesday morning in Crown Point. The man’s identity wasn’t disclosed with the ongoing investigation. It happened in the Cottage Court sub-division about 9:30 in the morning. The Northwest Indiana Times reports a bobcat excavator backed over the victim at the construction site. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is involved with the investigation.
