“Lucky PBL 4” collect million dollar lottery prize

They all have connections to the Paxton-Buckley-Loda school district. And yesterday (Thurs), they labeled themselves "the Lucky PBL 4."

John Overstreet, Diana Hale, Martha Gentes and Jim Carley met with Illinois lottery officials for an official presentation of a $1 million Powerball prize.

The four winners share the prize, which is $250,000 each before taxes. The four have played the lottery together for about four years. It was a 3-month Powerball online subscription that proved to be a winner November 23rd.

All of them kept it a secret

The winning numbers matched the first five winning numbers: 5, 12, 43, 52 and 55.

Thursday's announcement by lottery officials was at the PBL high school, where all four winners have been employed. Reports said it was the first time the winners and friends had been together since the numbers were drawn.
