Peotone Police are investigating a train – pedestrian collision that left a man dead. The unidentified man was killed Friday when struck by an Amtrak around 5:30 pm.

The Will County Coroner's office reports a southbound Amtrak train struck the victim on the tracks between Harlem and Crawford avenues. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:10 p.m.
