The vacancy in the top position of the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County is no longer vacant. Pat Martin has been named to fill the post recently vacated by Joe Franco. Franco had been the only chairman of the organization since it formed in 2007. Martin is president of the Homestar Bank in Manteno. He’ll also carry the title of Chairman of the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County. Martin will serve a one-year term. Plans then, are to hand the chairmanship over to Riverside Medical Center president/CEO Phil Kambic. Martin’s goal is to move the alliance forward; keep the momentum moving to educate others about Kankakee County and what it has to offer. 94.1 FM, WGFA
