North-south traffic was required to stop with posted signs. Now, east-west motorists will also see stop signs. And there will be “stop ahead” advisory signs and flashing red lights at the intersection.
Whitten, Rockville Township road commissioner Jon Whitten said, the problems intersection has been an issue dating back 10+ years. He said something had to be done, even though some said speeding was also an issue with the intersection and the number of crashes there.
