A weekend shooting in Manteno has authorities looking for an Indiana man. The suspect allegedly shot a Manteno man six times early Saturday morning at a Main Street apartment.
Police call it an “isolated incident, not related to the Oktoberfest celebration in the community.”
Investigators say it was domestic incident, “concerning a woman."
An arrest warrant has been issued for 28-year-old Robert Williams of East Chicago, Ind. Charges against him are likely to be aggravated battery with a firearm.
The injured man was shot six times. He was listed in critical condition. Police reported the injured victim was returning to the apartment he shares with his girlfriend when he was accosted by another man in the kitchen.
